I'm honored to have received a silver medal in this year's Px3 (Prix de la Photographie, Paris) in the Fine Arts - Architecture category for my "stealth bomber" series.

It's been an up and down year for me (lately, a little down) and to get a DD right now just blows my mind.

Recently, my friend Tom told me he was curating a gallery of abstract work from some wonderful photographers as part of a fund-raising campaign for his friend, Steve Dubois. Steve will be running the London Marathon on April 17, 2011 on behalf of the Charlie and Kathleen Dunnery Children’s Fund. All the funds over the printing/mailing will be going towards the charity and he asked if I could donate a print. It's my honor to donate this piece, "he's doing his superman thing."

Quite a few people have inquired about a print of this -- now is a good time to pick it up!

Please find it in your heart to purchase a print (if not from me, then one from the other wonderful photographers that are participating) or to donate a little something. It's for the kids!

Even though I've been on dA for about a year, I've only started really uploading photos for a few months. In that time, I've been lucky enough to be featured numerous times by wonderful people that took notice of an unknown member. Thank you all very much. I've decided to start my own little feature in my journal (I don't think I can do real features since I'm not a paid member... I don't really know how it all works, truthfully).
